I mainly work in oil on canvas, draw as often as I can and dabble in many other media as well. I paint a range of subjects but tend to work on figurative pieces and portraiture, but always like to dip into all sorts of other subjects.

Born in Singapore many years ago, a very early memory was looking at a book on art and particularly a picture in there of the Water Seller of Seville by Velazquez. I've always drawn and painted and continue to do so from a secluded farm in the We;sh Mountains

My work can be found in collections in the UK, USA, Germany, France, Portugal, Japan and Australia

I try to get out as often as I can to paint on the streets as a pavement artist, often working on full sized copies of old master paintings (such as the Caravaggio 'Supper at Emmaus' in the photograph above taken as it was being painted on the streets of Chester) but also working on original pieces. I feel that it's really important that people see how paintings are made and no better way to do this than take painting out onto the streets.

Please get in touch with any comments or commissions.

Hope you enjoy my work on this website.

One of my early, teenage paintings, now lost but maybe worth revisiting.
